We're specialized in calculating and developing race car aerodynamics. You can find examples of our calculation results in the Opel GT section under Racing. We also perform calculations on other simple CFD cases, most often cases with static meshes but we can calculate time dependent flow cases as well as "static" ones. We can calculate both internal and external flows, and they can for example contain heat transfer too.

Our machines are capable of running up to 40 million cells while using turbulence models. Laminar cases can run a slightly bigger mesh. We do all computations with double precision accuracy (using double precision floating point values). We mainly use the k-Omega turbulence model, but can also run k-Epsilon and others.

Our CFD program of choice is the open source OpenFOAM package. We currently use OpenFOAM's newest version, 2.0.x. Previously we used version 1.7.x for calculating values for wing profiles, the Elmer X-1 proto and our Opel GT race project.
